Throwing a Life Away

I threw my life away

One thing at a time

I know my things don't hold monetary value

But they do hold our minds

In the place we grew

In the place we take root

In the place we learned how to walk

But before that we learned how to scoot

A time when things weren't so clear.

A time where the word "delete"

Didn't exist and make you disappear

I went through my whole life

One scroll at a time

For all my friends that I had,

I wish i could go back

And correct my mind

But I can't.

Reliving those days

Only in images as they scroll up the page

What happened to who I was?

And i lost a lot
